You really can’t complain about this year’s winter season in the Gastein Valley. Incredible amounts of fresh snow, wonderful weather and ideal slope conditions will probably accompany you well into spring. Maybe a little foretaste of summer wouldn’t be so bad after all. In mid-March, palm trees on the alpine pastures in Gastein invite you to enjoy the Caribbean in Sportgastein.
The Caribbean meets sunny skiing fun
50 real palm trees await ski-enthusiastic guests at Palmen auf der Almen 2019 on 16. and 17. March. The exotic plants bring a little color to the snow-covered alpine pastures of Sportgastein and create an exciting contrast with the blue sky and the bright sun. Sit down on one of the many sun loungers, enjoy a delicious cocktail and dream into the day. The right music provides a touch of easy living and a South Sea flair before you venture out on the slopes and, if the weather is fine, ski down the slopes of the Gastein Valley.
