ou think you have already experienced the Gastein Valley from all angles? What about the bird’s eye view in rapid free flight? Flying Waters is the new highlight in Bad Gastein! The Flying Fox in Gastein leads over a length of approx. 270 m directly over the valley floor of the Gastein waterfall, through the middle of the village and its magnificent nature – a highlight for courageous guests with a head for heights, and not only in summer!
Soaring between the waterfall and the Belle Epoque
If you’ve always wanted to float through the heart of the local Belle Epoque, then this is the perfect opportunity: fastened to the cable, speed past the spectacular scenery of the Gasteiner Ache. The vast Gastein Valley spreads out on your left, framed by the majestically towering mountains of the Hohe Tauern, while you speed past the waterfall and feel individual drops on your skin, while the zipline in Bad Gastein with an adrenaline guarantee leads directly over historic buildings . While the blood is still rushing through the veins and the heartbeat is far from calming down to a normal level, one thing is already clear to you: it would be best to do it again!
About Flying Waters Bad Gastein
Since July 2015, the Flying Waters zipline has been leading over the Gasteiner Ache at around 270 m with a maximum height of around 68 m and speeds of up to 50 km / h. The system is operated in summer and – more irregularly and partly on request – also in winter. Courageous pilots (minimum height 1.30 m, weight 30-128 kg) dare to ride the Flying Fox in Gastein and are greeted by supervisors at both stations. This ensures maximum security at all times.
